IGEL Visioncare Group (also known as the IGEL Group), with its head office in Singapore, was incorporated in 1990. The Group has more than fifteen year experience in the visioncare business. Over the years, we have developed ourselves as a key regional player with strong foothold in Asia; served by our three regional offices located in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, and Shanghai. The IGEL brand and products are distributed in 48 countries, covering the Asia Pacific Region including New Zealand and the Indian Sub-continent to the Middle East, North Africa region and some European countries.
Throughout the years, our IGEL NU-TORIC, has gained professional acknowledgment from fellow optometrists across Asia Pacific region. NU-TORIC design has been tested and proven to be one of the best performing and comfortable toric lenses yet. Other IGEL custom-made specialty lenses such as prosthetic, keratoconus lenses are also highly prescribed by hospitals (eye doctors) and eye clinics. To expand our product range, we recently have launched the ADVIOL™ Intra-Ocular lenses, and eLENS orthokeratology contact lenses; adding into IGEL’s specialty lenses product range.

On 8 November 2005, IGEL was awarded the Asia Pacific Super Excellent Brand Book of Records 2006 by Asia Entrepreneur Alliance Worldwide (AEA) .
We believe in continuous product innovation and excellent service. Therefore, we are also concentrating on Quality Management. We are continuously upgrading our staff in their competence and knowledge and equip them with better customer service skills in order to exceed our customers' expectations. On 1st March 2006, IGEL (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd was accredited with ISO 13485 : 2003 and CE 0120 certifications by the internationally recognized certification body, SGS UK.
